CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) today confirmed 20 new cases of novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been officially reported to the state, making the total positive case count 96. New cases were identified in Berkeley, Greenbrier, Hancock, Jackson, Kanawha, Marion, Mason, Ohio, Pleasants, Putnam, and Raleigh counties.

On March 16, 2020 Governor Jim Justice issued a Stay at Home order effective March 24, 2020, at 8:00 p.m. The order directs all West Virginians to stay at home and limit movements outside of their homes beyond essential needs.
